18 lbs

Of energy, that is. That's my girl. This week, she's eaten two rolls of toilet paper, a washcloth (sorry Holiday Inn) and 2/3's of my son's WWF pez dispenser. I really liked that washcloth, dammit. We also gave her another round of the 7 way vaccine, wormer, and a bath.

Bath, you say?
She has this thing about baths. You cannot take one without her. Showers either, for that matter. So when the kids take a bath (at least once a day, usually two) she plays the part of lifeguard and toy-fetcher. This sounds well and good, until she just can't stand it anymore, and the lab in her kicks into overdrive. It usually starts with a bark, then she'll turn in circles. After a few warning pounces, it's into the bathtub she goes, tail wagging all the way. The kids think this is the greatest thing in the world, of course. A third playmate in the bathtub to splash water out of the tub, play with toys, and make ungodly amounts of noise.

Time flies.......

........when you're having fun putting your house back together. And cleaning up accidents. And patching/fixing the furniture. And then there's the puppy. ; ) We've had Kiera nearly a month now, and she is roughly 80% potty trained. She sleeps through the night (yay!) and is an awesome puppy. She loves to eat, especially cat food. Processed or not processed, she doesn't care; it's all good to her. Getting kisses after she's eaten kitty box crunchies just doesn't work for me though.

We started puppy kindergarten two weeks ago, and she has a blast. She's the biggest one there, but plays nicely with the other puppies. This class is strictly about socialization, so it's all play, play, play while she's there. She'll then nap for at least a few hours afterwards, so that's nice. ;)
